Serving size: 2

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups (0.71 liters) of Strawberries

  • 1/2 cup of Condensed milk

  • 2 cups (0.47 liters) of 1:1 ratio of milk and cream

  • Teah’s Whipped Topping-Cream flavored

  • Nata de Coco (Coconut gel) – You can substitute this with any coconut or lychee jelly

  • 3/4 cups of Sago

Recipe:

  1. Cook your Sago for 7–8 minutes, remove it from the heat and let it rest for 15 minutes to cool down with the lid on top of the pot. Make sure the Sago is translucent in color to ensure it is cooked thoroughly.

  2. Chop your fresh strawberries and place them in a big bowl while you wait for the Sago to cook.

  3. Rinse and drain the cooked Sago in cold water and add the Sago to the bowl of strawberries.

  4. Add some Nata de coco’s syrup to lightly coat the strawberries and drain out the rest of the syrup.

(You can substitute this with honey and skip this step if you do not have Nata de Coco at home).

  5. Add condensed milk, 1:1 ratio of milk and cream, and Nata de Coco to the bowl of Sago and Strawberries.

  6. Mix everything together.

  7. Refrigerate the dessert for 4 hours.

  8. Add milk or cream of your choice to Teah’s Whipped topping powder and blend it in a blender or with a hand mixer to create a nice airy whipped foam topping for our dessert.

  9. Chill the Whipped foam topping in the refrigerator for the reminder of the time.

  10. Serve your Strawberry Sago dessert with the whipped topping on top of the dessert and enjoy!
